Here is the complete list of Upcoming Hollywood Movies in 2021
Post covid 2019 everything is changed , even the entertainment industry took several measurements to engage their own audience , here are some Upcoming Hollywood Movies in 2021 and most anticipated movies which one should never miss in His/ Her Life time
1.Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Almost everyone can still remember the messed up conception of Sonic’s appearance and the resulting outrage. What followed was an elaborate post-production and a commercially successful “Sonic The Hedgehog” movie. Of course, the announcement of a successor didn’t take long, and as it looks now, the production will start soon. At least that’s what many relevant websites with reference to the BC Creative Film Commission report, as an entry with the name “Emerald Hill” appeared on the website of the company responsible for the shooting…
2.Hawkeye

With “Hawkeye” the next big Disney+ series is on its way. What’s been driving fans for a year is the question of who will replace the Marvel hero as Hawkeye in the course of the series. Some sources reported “Bumblebee” star Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, but this was never confirmed. As a first video of shooting in a New York subway station shows, many were right in their assumption, because in fact not only Jeremy Renner but also Hailee Steinfeld can be seen here.
3.Dare Devil 2

After the 2003 “Daredevil” movie with Ben Affleck as Matt Murdock was a big flop, it was quiet around the Marvel character for a long time. Only the mostly positive rated Netflix series with Charlie Cox as Daredevil gained popularity among the fans after a while – and was cancelled in 2018 after three seasons. On November 29th, exactly two years later, Netflix’s film rights finally expired, which means that the story around Murdock could finally be used in some way for the MCU.
4. Babylon

A few days ago it was announced that Emma Stone is no longer considered for Damien Chazelles Hollywood epic “Babylon”. This comes as a bit of a surprise, as Chazelles collaboration with Stone has earned the 32-year-old an Oscar as best actress in 2017. The reason for the exit, however, is not supposed to be a dispute between the two, but rather Stone’s busy schedule. A suitable replacement also seems to have been found, because as The Wrap reports, the “La La Land” actress will be replaced by none other than Margot Robbie
5. Vanhelsing

So far, all that was known was that James Wan is working on a project for Universal’s Monster franchise, but now it is clear which one: a “Van Helsing” movie. Many people will know the vampire hunter of the same name, especially through Hugh Jackman’s not quite so convincing performance in 2004. Even if the main actor has not yet been determined, at least one director has been found for the blockbuster, namely Julius Avery, who became known to a wider audience mainly through “Operation: Overlord”
6. Wonder Woman 1984
This year was really not a good one for the film industry. After the numerous cinema closures, Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” was launched in the summer as a kind of attempt by Hollywood to see if people were willing to go to the movies despite the difficult situation. This was unfortunately not the case and “Tenet” generated less income than was hoped for. The consequences were far-reaching, because in the period after that almost all the films planned for 2020 were postponed, in some cases indefinitely…
7. Godzilla VS Kong

The undisputed highlight of the MonserVerse will be published next year and will be called “Godzilla vs Kong”. As Deadline and the Hollywood Reporter now report, the movie is worth 200 million US dollars and of course includes exclusive publishing rights for Netflix. The latest news is that Warner has turned down the offer and may be planning to show the blockbuster simultaneously on his own streaming service HBO Max and in the cinema – similar to “Wonder Woman 1984” which will be released in December
8.Deadpool 3

Even Ryan Reynolds was not sure after the Disney takeover of 20th Century Fox whether a third “Deadpool” film could be expected in the future. Surprisingly, however, there are good news for the large “Deadpool” fan community, because as Variety reports, the two sisters Wendy and Lizzie Molyneux were hired as screenwriters. Until now, they were known mainly as executive producers of the animation series “Bob’s Burgers”, so the humor seems to be in line with the “Deadpool” franchise
9.cherry

“Cherry” is the name of the next film by the Russo brothers, who directed “Avengers: Endgame”. After several engagements in various MCU movies and the most successful movie of all times, they now dedicate themselves to a project of their heart. The content of “Cherry” is about Nico Walker, a former soldier who became a bank robber afterwards and processed his experiences in a novel called “Cherry”. A central theme is the post-traumatic stress disorder of the young Walker, who gets into money troubles due to his resulting opioid addiction.
10.Predator 5

The “Predator” series is one of the most popular alien franchises in the film world. Since “Predator – Upgrade” could not achieve the hoped-for success and Disney now really does not stand for brutal alien action, fans did not expect too much from a potential “Predator 5”. As “Discussing Film” reported at the end of last year, director Dan Trachtenberg and screenwriter Patrick Aison have been working on a project called “Skulls” for quite some time…
11. Fanstastic Beasts 3

After the huge media response to Johnny Depps’ fully-paid exit from the “Fantastic Beasts” series, the large and usually reliable industry magazines quickly agreed on the successor: Mads Mikkelsen is expected to be in advanced contract negotiations with Warner Bros. In a conversation with IGN, however, he claims the exact opposite and that he only found out about it through the media – he assures that he is still waiting for the call,After a lot of back and forth it is finally clear: Mads Mikkelsen plays the evil wizard Gellert Grindelwald in the new “Fantastic Beasts” part. Not really surprising, although Mikkelsen pretended to know nothing last week. Now both sides should be satisfied, because on the one hand he was the top favorite of director David Yates, on the other hand the Dane is more than familiar with the role of the villain, as you could see in “Casino Royale”, “Doctor Strange” and of course “Hannibal”
12 Black Panther 2

The news of the unexpected death of 43-year-old “Black Panther” actor Chadwick Boseman in August shocked the entire film world. Recently there have been some rumors that Marvel might be using a digital double, similar to the “Fast And Furious” franchise with Paul Walker. Now followed a fairly unequivocal answer from Victoria Alonso, who is the producer of “Black Panther 2”, which is: “There can only be one!
13.Thor: Love And Thunder with Asgardians

Just recently, many fans were happy to hear that Chris Pratt was hired for “Thor: Love And Thunder”. Now there are more and more hints that he might not be the only Guardian to pay a visit to his Avenger colleague Thor. As The Direct reports, Vin Diesel was recently spotted at Sydney Airport. Since the fourth “Thor” film is also being shot in Australia, it’s not unlikely that he will also be there in his role as Groot. At least it would be logical, because at the end of “Avengers: Endgame” you see Thor and the Guardians leaving the scene together for a new adventure.
14. Transformers 6

Just a few weeks ago, it was reported that the “Transformers” franchise had been put on hold due to cinema closures and the lack of a director. But at least the latter point could be improved, because as Deadline reports, the 32-year-old “Creed 2″ director Steven Caple Jr. is currently being considered for the production of the sixth part. Although contract negotiations are still in progress, he is the studio’s top choice. As ” Transformers” director Michael Bay has not been available since the fifth part and the spin-off “Bumblebee” was taken over by Travis Knight
15. Scream 5

A few days ago producer Kevin Williamson shared first impressions from the set of the fifth “Scream” part. The project has the simple name “Scream” and Williamson also finds touching words about the deceased creator Wes Craven. According to his own statement Craven would have been very proud of the film and also the collaboration with the cast, which partly consists of newcomers, was very productive. Although we are left in the dark about the plot, we can look forward to a shocker about a woman who wants to get to the bottom of the horrible crimes in her hometown Woodsboro
16. synder cut

Since its release in 2017, “Justice League” has had a hard time convincing its fans. So it was all the more gratifying to hear in May that original director Zack Snyder, after retiring for family reasons, would release his own cut version. The so-called Snyder Cut will be released next year as a four-part mini-series and later as a 4-hour film. It is logical that there will be no lack of new scenes to shoot, and so Jared Leto will once again slip into the role of the Joker.
17.Static Shock

Since the initial announcement of the new DC blockbuster “Static Shock” at the FanDome in August, there has been a lot of movement behind the scenes. As the Hollywood Reporter reports exclusively, “Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan will now join the production team. However, there is no talk of an acting performance or similar at the moment. The original comic “Static Shock” made its debut in 1993 and is published by Milestone Comics…
18. Avatar 2

Almost 11 years after the release of the 3D spectacle “Avatar”, the successor is shot and postproduction is in full swing. This week we could see a surprise on the official Twitter channel of “Avatar”, because it seems that Edie Falco will embody General Ardmore, the commander of the military organization RDA. Of course, many fans now ask themselves if this could be a hint for a new bad guy role in the “Avatar” universe.
19. Bloodshot 2

“Bloodshot” with Vin Diesel was released this year just days before cinemas around the world closed their doors. Therefore, the film about the immortal elite soldier Ray Garrison performed badly at the box office. Contrary to expectations, however, the film was surprisingly well received and as a result was very often bought and viewed via Video On Demand, which prompted DMG Entertainment to initiate a sequel. In terms of content, the nanotechnology-equipped and quasi-immortal elite soldier will continue to try to track down his “creator”, the RST Corporation.
20. Mortal Kombat

In fact, many fans had already been looking forward to the “Mortal Kombat” movie, which was supposed to release in the coming March. On Twitter, producer Todd Garner now reached out to the fans with bad news, since the reboot will not be able to appear as planned due to the cinema closures. According to Garner there will be a new date only after it is clear when the cinemas can open again, the same applies to a long-awaited trailer.
21.Scorpion King

First through “The Mummy Returns” and later “The Scorpion King” Dwayne Johnson became known to a larger audience in the early 2000s, in addition to his work as a wrestler in the WWE. It seems that the latter is now being completely reissued. The screenplay is supposed to have been written by “Straight Outta Compton” author Jonathan Herman, while Johnson’s company Seven Bucks Productions is working with Universal on the production. So he is primarily responsible for the new movie as producer.
22. A Quiet Place 3

In 2018, the horror thriller “A Quiet Place” turned out to be one of THE surprise hits of the year. The film about the unyielding and extremely noise-sensitive aliens brought in impressive $341 million on a budget of just $17 million. Since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting the completion of Part 2, which has been postponed several times due to cinema closures and will now be released in April next year. The spin-off mentioned above will no longer be directed by John Krasinski as in the first two parts, but by “Midnight Special” director Jeff Nichols.
23. SpiderMan 3

Probably nobody expected this: on the first set photo of the friendly spider from the neighborhood, Spider-Man wears two masks at once, namely a mouth-nose cover and his usual suit. The message follows directly below the picture: “Wear one mask, I wear two”. Apart from that, not much seems to have changed since “Far From Home”, as at first glance the suit is identical to the one from the predecessor. Not much is known about the content yet, but many fans are looking forward to the appearance of Jamie Foxx as bad guy Electro and Benedict Cumberbatch as the new mentor Doctor Strange
24. Mission Impossible 7
The “Mission Impossible” series has been around for many years and, in addition to the intense action, has caused quite a stir with the stunts, most of which were performed personally by Tom Cruise. In the upcoming part 7, the origin of the franchise will be explored in more detail. Of course Tom Cruise will return to the role of IMF agent Ethan Hunt. Furthermore, he will be supported by his colleague Rebecca Ferguson, who will also again embody her character Ilsa Faust. The new offshoot, which by the way will be shot together with Part 8.
25. James Bond : No time to Die

Soon the most famous agent in the world will return to the screen. No, we don’t mean Johnny English, but none other than James Bond. In the 25th Bond film called “No time to die”, 007 will, despite his planned retirement in Jamaica, have to deal with a particularly nasty kind of villain, since the mysterious mask wearer gives the agents a hard time with new dangerous technology. Originally, Denis Villeneuve and later Danny Boyle were intended as the director for Daniel Craig’s last adventure. After a lot of fights over the script, Cary Fukunaga was chosen in late 2018.
26. The Suicide Squad 2

“The Suicide Squad” ties in with its predecessor as a reboot and therefore also plays in the same world as the blockbuster from 2016. What’s new is on the one hand the framework plot and on the other hand the team. The reason for this is, among other things, the comic adaptation of David Ayer, which was a failure for many fans and critics despite its financial success. The reboot will be directed by James Gunn, after Mel Gibson has dropped out as a potential director. With the new constellation of characters, Gunn wants to ignore part 1 and lead the blockbuster in a completely new direction. Amongst others, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag.
27. The Batman

The DC blockbuster with Robert Pattinson is also highly anticipated by many fans. The exact plot is still unclear, but at least we know that the film will go in the direction of the Dark Knight’s Origin story. A special focus will be put on the detective skills of the young Batman in a big series of murders, so to speak as a detective noir story. The popular Arkham Asylum will also play a role and it can be very likely assumed that the DC comic “Batman: The Long Halloween” will serve as a basic template for the blockbuster. The long-awaited film will be directed by “Cloverfield” director Matt Reeves, while the script was completed by Peter Craig.
28.Dune Villian

In December the time has finally come: the top-class science fiction epic “Dune” will be released. In the past few weeks, we have already had a glimpse of the giant sand worms and the Atreides family. Now the villain Baron Harkonnen has been unveiled. The whole thing, however, was not revealed at all by secret pictures from the set or leaked film clips, but by a Dune action figure, which will be available in the USA in autumn. Until now, the Baron was only seen hidden in wafts of mist and mud baths, but now we can take a first look at the villain’s outfit. Fans of the previous film adaptations already know that Baron Harkonnen is distinguished above all by his incredibly massive stature.
29. Lord of the rings series

After a long break, the upcoming “Lord of the Rings” Amazon series is back on track. It has been known for quite some time that the production is going to be a huge spectacle right from the beginning, but Galadriel actress Morfydd Clark recently revealed in an interview with NME how extensive and detailed the work is actually done on set. According to her own statement, she was very overwhelmed by the massive production. For example, one of the employees is supposed to have the mundane task of monitoring how the dust reacts to the actors’ steps and breath.
30. Pacemakers series

With a recent tweet, wrestler and actor John Cena announces a new series about his character Peacemaker from the upcoming “The Suicide Squad” film. The project will feature eight episodes and will be a mixture of action, adventure and comedy. None other than “The Suicide Squad” creator James Gunn is responsible for the script and the 54-year-old will also be involved in directing some episodes.
31. Cleo Patra

As Entertainment Weekly reported this week, actress Gal Gadot will soon play the Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra in a new film. She follows in the footsteps of Elizabeth Taylor, who last played the historical figure in 1963. Gadot’s companion and director Petty Jenkins will take a seat in the director’s chair. This announcement has been preceded by a real tug-of-war between the major film studios in Hollywood in recent weeks. Netflix, Apple, Universal, Warner Bros. and Paramount, among others, are reported to have been interested in the project.
32. Mad Max : Furiosa

After the surprising success of “Mad Max: Fury Road” in 2015, the prequel “Furiosa” is slowly but surely starting to take shape after the announcement a few months ago. As the industry magazine Deadline reports, the Hollywood stars Anya Taylor- Joy, Chris Hemsworth and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be the leading acting trio. Particularly in the foreground is Taylor Joy, who will follow in the footsteps of Charlize Theron as main heroine. After appearances in “Split”, “Glass” and “Thoroughbreds”, the 24-year-old is currently one of the most sought-after young stars in Hollywood and could give her career a proper boost with “Furiosa”.Upcoming Hollywood Movies in 2021
33. Dexter

It has been seven years since the end of the recently not quite so celebrated series “Dexter” with Michael C. Hall. Nevertheless, the production of the U.S. channel Showtime still enjoys a remarkable fan base, and after season eight, the show does not end at all, as Showtime lets “Dexter” return for a new season. As Hollywood Reporter reports, the revival will comprise ten episodes and will bring back both lead actor Michael C. Hall and showrunner Clyde Phillips.
34. Soul (Disney)

A few days ago, Disney announced that it will make Pixar’s latest animated adventure “Soul” available exclusively on Disney+ starting December 25, 2020. On the international market, Disney will nevertheless be considering bringing the film to the cinema. “Soul” is by far not the first film that can be seen on Disney+ instead of in the cinema, because the global corporation caused quite a stir a few months ago when the cinema release of “Mulan” was cancelled and offered for a hefty surcharge on its streaming service. But “Mulan” will not be available for a fee for too long either.
